The Event
TRAIN. PROMOTE. CELEBRATE.
BAZA closes out 2026 with one afternoon on the mat. It starts at 1:00 PM with a free seminar led by Mateus Rodrigues — open to all BAZA students and visitors, no seminar fee.
When the seminar wraps, we move straight into belt promotions and the 2026 year-end party. One date, one room, and everyone who trained this year in it together.

The Seminar
Mateus Rodrigues on the mat with the BAZA team — technique, detail, and live guided work. Free to attend and open to all students and visitors — all levels welcome.

Belt Promotions
A year of work recognized in front of the people you trained it with. New belts and stripes awarded right after the seminar.

Year-End Party
The 2026 year-end celebration for the whole BAZA family — students, training partners, and the people who show up for them.
Dress Code
WHITE GI ONLY
Everyone on the mat wears a white gi for this one. If you don't own one, you can rent a white gi at the academy on the day of the event.
Bring Your Own
White Gi
A clean white gi is required to train in the seminar. No blue, black, or other colors on the mat for this event.

Don't have a white gi? Rent one at BAZA on event day for $35. Let us know when you register so we can set one aside.

BEFORE YOU STEP ON THE MAT
Everyone. The seminar is open to all students and visitors — BAZA members, students from other academies, and complete beginners. All belts and experience levels are welcome on the mat. Just register in advance and bring a white gi.
Yes. There is no seminar fee and the registration form does not request payment information. The only cost on the day is the optional $35 white gi rental if you need one.
Yes. This is a white gi only event — everyone training in the seminar wears a white gi.
You can rent a white gi at BAZA on the day of the event for $35. Mention it when you register or call (747) 216-3333 so we can reserve one in your size.
The seminar begins at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 12, 2026. Arrive early enough to change and be warmed up on the mat by 1:00.
